North Warwickshire Borough Council is one of 5 district councils in Warwickshire. In a two-tier area the county council runs crisis payments and the district runs the housing side of the fund — rent shortfalls, a deposit, rent in advance. Warwickshire County Council was allocated £5,910,784 for 2026-27; North Warwickshire Borough Council was allocated £71,878 of its own. What North Warwickshire itself says

What you get. “The Housing Payment scheme provides financial one off or short term support towards housing costs such as a rent shortfall, moving costs or rent in advance/deposit”
Who qualifies. “You must be receiving either Housing Benefit or the Universal Credit Housing Costs Element and satisfy us that you require further help with your housing costs by providing proof of your income and expenditure”
How to apply. “You can apply for Housing Payments (CRF) to help with your rent below”
